MiCA

The Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA) is the European Union framework that establishes uniform authorisation, conduct, and compliance rules for crypto-asset service providers.

MiCA gives the EU a single rulebook for crypto issuers and service providers, covering authorisation, governance, market-abuse rules, and consumer protection, and it operates alongside the EU AML regime and Travel Rule requirements. Firms authorised under MiCA still owe AML/CFT duties: sanctions screening, transaction monitoring, and diligence on counterparties. Our platform supplies the on-chain controls that support those obligations, including address risk-score, KYT transaction screening, sanctions screening, and multi-hop fund-flow tracing, so a MiCA-authorised provider can evidence a risk-based approach to the provenance of the crypto assets it handles.
