JSON-RPC
JSON-RPC is a stateless remote-procedure-call protocol that encodes a method name, parameters and an id as a JSON envelope, which a blockchain node answers with a matching result or error.
Most Ethereum-family and Bitcoin Core nodes speak JSON-RPC: you POST an envelope naming a method and its params, and the node returns a result or error keyed to your id. It is the base layer under nearly every wallet, indexer and explorer. Our archive RPC exposes standard JSON-RPC as passthrough, so the same eth_getBalance or eth_getLogs call you write against any node works unchanged, metered per request from your prepaid credit balance rather than a fixed monthly cap.
